An Inconvenient Truth

I thought this documentary was quite informative to the layperson. I have a sister majoring in geography and sometimes she tries to explain this stuff to me, but I can never usually be bothered to try to understand her technical jargon.
The most effective parts of his presentation, I felt, were his pictures of well known glaciers and lakes receding at such a startling pace. When it’s hard to explain the scientific terminology and processes, a photograph can really bring the message home.
Although they sometimes felt out of place and too specific, the little clips about Al Gore’s own life and childhood were a nice way of humanizing the problem. They put a face on the people who genuinely lived their lives not taking for granted the environment and nature.
