i watched this movie last night. it was pretty disturbing, but i rather liked it. anthony hopkins played the role of dr. lecter exceptionally well. and julianne moore filled in jodie foster’s shoes just fine. i don’t know why jodie foster turned down the chance to play clarice starling again, though; it was a great sequel to the silence of the lambs.

i wonder if actors in movies like these get stuck in their roles. by that, i mean if they get mistaken for the characters they play in these films. i was thinking about it last night with my friends and we wondered if anyone would want to date anthony hopkins after seeing him eat over a dozen people in the movie. (although, i think he’s already married.)
