i already knew i’d like this movie, mostly because i loved monsters, inc., finding nemo, and many of the other pixar films. but unlike other highly anticipated films, i was not disappointed by the incredibles.

this is a great movie, packed with gripping action scenes and wholesome family values. the 3D animation was excellent; i literally started biting my nails during some of the scenes because they seemed so real. the comedic elements blended nicely with the overall storyline, and i was satisfied throughout my duration at the theatre.

however, the incredibles seems to target more of an adult audience than previous pixar animations did in the past. there are references to suicide, adultery, and sex that children might be on the cusp of understanding and thoroughly confused by. either way, though, kids may just gloss over such touchy issues and focus on the story at hand, which is really a fun adventure for any viewer.
