fuck me, the fellowship of the rings was a good movie. ok, so i have now completely revealed myself for the geek that i am, but really — this film is excellent. stupid naysayers and their naysaying.

of course, my beloved elijah wood shined in his role as frodo baggins (minus the hairy hobbit feet). but there was also this young chap named orlando bloom who played the role of legolas, some elvish archer. he was so damn femme at the beginning of the film, but boy could he shoot those arrows. i think i’m in love [again]. slap me around and call me suzy, mr. bloom.

probably the thing that annoyed me most in the film was all of the manly hugging and tears. people die in lord of the rings, yes. and people cry. i think the silent tear-running-down-side-of-cheek bit was slightly overused. but oh well. i still liked the movie.

watch it. and do not be turned off by frodo’s feet. although they are quite narsty.
